A document built to answer the questions investors and partners actually ask.

A business plan settles whether an asset's commercial case holds up under scrutiny: is the market real, is the IP defensible, is the regulatory path credible, do the numbers work. We analyse each of those questions before writing a word, then author the section in a formatted document, structured for the investor or partnering conversation you are actually walking into.

What you get

Eleven sections, reasoned before they're written

Every section runs through two passes: first the analysis (what's actually true about the technology, the market, the competitive position), then the writing. The executive summary is authored last, once there is something real to summarise.

Cost & turnaround

Scoped to the asset, confirmed up front

A business plan is a bigger deliverable than a one-page target list, so it doesn't fit a single flat number. We scope it against your asset and existing materials, then confirm both figures before we start.

TBC
Cost

Scoped to your asset and how much source material already exists.

TBC
Turnaround

Confirmed once we understand the asset and how much is already written.

Common questions

What does a JustPartnering business plan actually cover?
Eleven sections: executive summary, technology overview, market opportunity, competitive landscape, intellectual property, product development plan, regulatory pathway, business model and commercial strategy, team and governance, financial projections and funding, and risk assessment and mitigation. The executive summary is written last, once every other section exists to summarise.
How is this different from filling in a business plan template?
Every section is analysed before it is written: what the technology actually is, how the market is really sized, where the competitive risk sits, what the regulatory path looks like. The writing comes after the thinking, not instead of it. A template you fill in yourself skips straight to prose with no analysis underneath it, which is where generic-sounding business plans come from.
What if I need to update it later, after a fundraise moves or a milestone changes?
Because we keep a structured record of what went into your plan, most edits are a targeted change to the section that needs it, not a full rebuild. Tell us what changed, we update that section and reissue the document.
What format do I receive it in?
A formatted document, organised in the eleven-section order above, ready to circulate to investors or partners.
How much does it cost, and how long does it take?
It depends on the asset and how much source material already exists: a plan built from a strong existing data package and pitch deck takes less work than one built from raw lab notebooks. We confirm both after a short scoping conversation.
Can this feed into a bigger fundraising or partnering process?
Yes. A business plan is a standalone deliverable, but it is also foundational material for a partnering process or a raise. Our business development and licensing practice picks up from here if you want to take it further.
A business plan is a standalone deliverable. If you want to take it further, our business development and licensing practice and out-licensing advisory pick up exactly where it leaves off.
